My Story

Beautiful, meaningful, possible.

For years, there were places I dreamed about but never truly believed I would see with my own eyes.

Travel changed that.

It showed me that the world could feel bigger, life could feel fuller, and dreams that once felt far away could become real with the right planning, support, and courage.

Where the dream began

The little girl who thought travel was impossible grew up to see the world.

When I was a child, I saw a picture of the Colosseum in Rome on television. I remember turning to a family member and saying, “That’s beautiful. I want to go there someday.”

They told me it would be too expensive and that I would probably never be able to go.

For a long time, I believed them.

I thought travel was only for certain people. I thought the beautiful places I saw in photographs, on television, and in history books would always remain far away from me.

My first glimpse of Europe — a layover in Amsterdam.

Then I was invited on my first international trip: a cruise that began in Copenhagen and ended in London.

My first glimpse of Europe came during a layover in Amsterdam. As I looked out of the airplane window and saw the green landscape and windmills below, I remember thinking, “I cannot believe I am actually here.”

That feeling of gratitude stayed with me throughout the entire trip.

“It is not only about where you go. It is about what becomes possible inside you when you finally arrive.”

I saw places I had only imagined. I experienced new cultures, beautiful art, historic landmarks, and people whose lives were different from my own. My eyes saw so much, but something even deeper happened: my heart opened.

I kept thinking about the six-year-old version of me—the little girl who had dared to dream, even after being told it would never happen.

She would have been so proud.

Since then, I have traveled to more than 20 countries, stood in front of art and architecture I once only knew through books, and connected with people and cultures that have changed the way I see the world.

That is what travel means to me.

Why this work matters to me

I know what it feels like to believe a dream is too far away.

Because I once believed travel was out of reach, I understand what it feels like to carry a dream that seems too expensive, too complicated, or too far away.

That is why I care so deeply about helping others move from “maybe someday” to a real plan.

I want people to feel the same wonder, gratitude, and pride I felt when I realized the world was not closed to me.

My role is not simply to book hotels, cruises, or flights. It is to help you believe your dream deserves a place in your life—and then help you take the next step toward making it real.

Travel planning is not only about reservations. It is about helping someone feel confident enough to say yes to an experience they may have once thought was impossible.

More than a destination

What I want travel to give you

Connection

A deeper connection to yourself, the people you love, and the places you experience.

Confidence

The confidence to understand your options and make choices that feel right for you.

Meaning

Experiences that go beyond a checklist and allow you to connect with culture, history, food, and people.

Joy

The excitement of feeling prepared, adventurous, and proud that you followed through on your dream.

What working with me feels like

Guidance that respects your dream and your decisions

I bring personal travel experience, thoughtful research, customer service, coaching, and care into every client relationship.

I will not make every decision for you. I will help you understand your options, explain the why behind my recommendations, and guide you toward choices that fit your needs.

  • I listen before I recommend.

Your priorities, concerns, and travel style come first.

  • I explain the why.

You deserve to understand the thinking behind each recommendation.

  • I respect your budget and pace.

Your trip should fit your life—not someone else’s expectations.

  • I help simplify the choices.

You do not need to carry every detail alone.

  • I help you move at your pace.

Your dream, your decisions, with guidance when you want it.

My promise to you

Beautiful, not perfect.

Guided, encouraged, and still completely yours.

Your dream, your decisions, with guidance along the way.

You do not need to have every answer before beginning. You only need a dream, a willingness to explore what is possible, and someone who will meet you with care.

Lori warmly inviting travelers to begin planning a meaningful dream trip.
From my dream to yours

Your dream deserves room to become real.

You do not need to have every detail figured out before reaching out.

Bring the idea, the questions, and even the uncertainty. I would be honored to help you explore what is possible and identify a next step that feels exciting, realistic, and right for you.

Beautiful, not perfect. Your next step can be simple.
